The OnePlus 16 is now official, and it is shaping up to be one of the most interesting flagships launched exclusively in China. It brings the expected generational upgrades, including the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, a 200MP main camera and a significant battery jump. According to GSMArena, the phone will not make its way to Europe or the US.
That China-only status matters. OnePlus has built a global following on aggressive pricing and clean software, so a flagship that stays home leaves buyers in Tunisia, Europe and North America without an official route to the device. Only the Chinese market gets open sales, starting October 31.
