Natura, an AI and hardware startup, has unveiled Interface, a $99 smart ring that lets you summon AI agents with the press of a finger. The device, reported by TechCrunch, is built for a world where agents do everyday tasks for you without you reaching for your phone.
Interface connects to a range of AI agents at launch, including Meta's Muse, Instinct, Grok Bot, Claude and ChatGPT. Preorders are expected to open next month, with shipping slated for December or January, so buyers will wait a few weeks before the ring lands on their finger.
A ring built for AI agents, not just health
Natura was founded by Carlo Edoardo Ferraris, who previously founded tech accessories company Rolling Square. After years in consumer hardware, he became convinced that fast-improving AI needed a new interface that lets people ask for things the way they would ask a person.
The ring's pitch is simple: look up from your phone. You can ask an agent to reorder shampoo while you shower, start a workout during a run, or turn off the TV and set an alarm as you fall asleep. Agent replies arrive through connected headphones, an iPhone Live Activity, or the NatureOS app.
Users who rely on several agents can pick which one handles a task. Ferraris gives the example of asking Claude to write code, Instinct to book a reservation and Grok Bot for something else. The ring can also control devices, including computers, as Ferraris expects agents to take over tasks that currently need a screen.
Natura Interface specs and health tracking
Interface is not only an AI remote. Natura says it doubles as a health tracker, competing with rings such as the Oura Ring and Samsung Galaxy Ring while adding agent control.
The company says the manufacturing cost is comparable to those rival rings because they share many of the same components, but Natura is pricing Interface lower at launch to reduce the barrier to entry.
