Oxide Computer has closed a $445 million Series D funding round, the company announced on 9 October 2026. Eclipse led the round, with existing investors USIT, Riot Ventures, Jane Street, Friends and Family Capital and Counterpart also participating, while Atreides Management and AMD joined as new investors.
The raise is unusual for a startup: Oxide says it reached profitability on ordinary operations, even paying income tax last spring, and now faces demand far exceeding supply. The new capital is meant to fund inventory and manufacturing commitments so the company can work through a large order backlog while still accepting new orders.
Oxide's $445M Series D: who's backing the round
Eclipse, an investor in Oxide since the company's early years, led the round. Oxide said its existing backers signed up for "big pieces" and that outside interest was strong, with profitability described as the ultimate venture-capital draw.
Two names stand out. Atreides Management first met Oxide nearly two years ago and stayed close to the company. AMD joins as a strategic investor; Oxide says AMD supported breakthroughs in its platform enablement software, and that one of its first big bets was on AMD EPYC processors.
