Amazon's October Prime Big Deal Days sale ends tonight, and the discount list is heavy on devices from Apple, Sony, Google, Samsung and more. According to The Verge, the event closes at 3AM ET on Thursday, October 8th, with roughly 100 deals tracked across the gadgets its staff actually recommend.
Amazon Prime members get access to the largest number of deals, but many of the same prices are matched at Best Buy, Walmart and Target. WIRED, which also runs a live roundup of more than 100 tested products, notes the sale started October 6 and requires an active Prime membership — a detail that matters for anyone shopping from Tunisia.
Apple deals lead the October Prime Day lineup
Apple products dominate both roundups. The Verge highlights the iPhone Air — Apple's thinnest iPhone at 5.6mm, with a 6.5-inch ProMotion display, a 48MP Fusion camera and an 18MP front camera — while noting its single rear camera and modest battery life are trade-offs. The iPhone 16E, positioned as the successor to the iPhone SE, is also discounted.
WIRED points out that the Mac Mini has been sold out for most of 2026 because of rising interest in running local AI models, making its availability at all notable. AirTags, one of the cheaper Apple accessories, are also on sale.
- MacBook Air M5 — described by WIRED as the most well-rounded laptop you can buy, now at its lowest price since June
- Mac Mini M6 — the new model is roughly 20 percent faster than the M4 version, per The Verge, and has been hard to find for most of the year
- AirPods Pro 3 — best-in-class noise cancelling plus built-in heart rate sensors and live translation
