Hex Technologies has raised a $100 million Series D led by Peak XV at a $1.2 billion valuation, according to Forbes. The data analytics provider says it has rebuilt its platform specifically for AI agents, a shift that now anchors its pitch to investors and customers.
The round lands in a funding week that also saw Broccoli AI, which sells AI agents to plumbing, HVAC and electrical companies, raise $22 million in Series A and $30 million in Series B money led by Khosla Ventures, and Hyperbolic close a $30 million Series A-1 for renting AI compute across neoclouds. The common thread is agents: software that does the work rather than just showing a dashboard.
What Hex says it rebuilt
Hex's core product has been a collaborative workspace where data teams explore, analyze and share results. According to the report, the company has now reworked that platform so AI agents can work inside it, rather than treating agents as a bolt-on assistant.
The $1.2 billion valuation makes Hex one of the more valuable private players in the analytics space. Peak XV led the round, and Forbes reported the funding on the same day it was confirmed by Techmeme's news feed. Neither Hex nor Peak XV gave further terms in the source material, and no timeline for the platform changes was specified.
AI agent funding rounds pile up
The Hex round is not isolated. Broccoli AI, founded by AJ Jain and Aditya Ketkar, raised $52 million across two rounds nine months apart, both led by Khosla Ventures, with Y Combinator and Operator Partners participating. A person familiar with the matter told Fortune the company is valued at $300 million post-money; Broccoli declined to comment on that figure.
Broccoli's agents answer inbound calls, book jobs into the scheduling software contractors already use, follow up on open estimates and renew service memberships. The company says more than 1,500 businesses use it, including Ace Hardware Home Services, Mr. Electric and Any Hour Group, and that revenue has tripled since the Series A. Headcount has grown from 15 people a year ago to more than 150.
