Beats is officially teaming up with Pokémon. The Apple-owned audio brand posted a teaser on its social accounts showing a shadowy silhouette of a pill-shaped Bluetooth speaker lit up by yellow lightning, a clear nod to Pikachu. The post carried only one line: "Time to catch something new."
Neither Beats nor Pokémon has announced a release date or a price. The teaser follows months of rumors, including a photo shared on social media of a Pikachu-themed Beats Pill box sitting in a shopping cart, and Pikachu's visit to Apple Park earlier this year, where the mascot met Apple executives Tim Cook and John Ternus.
Beats x Pokémon Pill speaker: what we know
The teaser clip shows the speaker's design lighting up with various elements, though Beats has not detailed the full look of the Pikachu edition. What is clear is that the collaboration lands on the Beats Pill, the portable Bluetooth speaker that Beats brought back in 2024 after a long absence from its lineup.
The sources agree on the core facts but differ slightly on the standard model's price: Engadget lists the Beats Pill at $150, while 9to5Mac says $149.99 and notes it is regularly discounted to around $129. That is roughly 435 TND at the source price, or about 375 TND at the discounted price. No price has been given for the Pokémon edition.
