Apple has announced a major round of updates for Apple Creator Studio, the subscription bundle of creative apps it launched in January. GSMArena reports the company calls it the most exciting update since launch, and it brings AI assistants, new MotionVFX integrations and a long list of features to Final Cut Pro, Motion, Compressor, Pixelmator Pro, Logic Pro and the iWork apps.
The updates will hit the App Store in November and are free for existing subscribers. The AI assistants are US English only and require an Apple Intelligence-capable device.
AI assistants arrive in Keynote, Pages and Numbers
Keynote, Pages and Numbers now get an AI assistant built on Apple's own models and OpenAI's, according to GSMArena. The assistant understands the context of your document: it helps design, animate and refine slides in Keynote, drafts and restructures text in Pages, and calculates, visualizes and organizes data in Numbers, where it also recommends chart types and builds tables using world knowledge.
The three apps also gain support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which lets external AI agents read content, make edits and run automated actions. MCP support is Mac-only on macOS 27, while the AI assistant needs iOS 27, iPadOS 27 or macOS 27.
